About Me

Dylan Newton was born and raised in a small town where the local library was her favorite hang-out. Plus, it was the only place after school open until her single mother got off from work to pick her up where she didn't have to stand in the perpetual snow of Upstate New York.
After earning a degree in English Literature, Dylan spent more than a decade sidetracked by an executive position in corporate America where she swears she contracted testosterone poisoning from working with all men. She figures that explains all of the estrogen-rich activities she's done since leaving the banking/finance industry: heading up PTA, Girl Scouts, being a beauty consultant, having a baby, and writing a romance novel.

NEW 2015...PIPER’S PIPING is a holiday story with a paranormal twist! As her Irish honeymoon turns nightmarish, werewolf Aribella Lupari must choose between her man, or recusing the pack’s missing were-pups. Released in 2014, Dylan's third novel, DESPITE THE FANGS, is a paranormal romance with bite! Her longest book to date, FANGS delivers the unexpected—a foul-mouthed, werewolf heroine with overactive follicles, a mysterious hero who’d do anything for his son, and a world that— for the time being— doesn’t know they exist. Can the big, bad wolf live happily ever after, DESPITE THE FANGS?

Her spicy novella, "Any Witch Way," was released in June 2012  from The Wild Rose Press. The novella features a graduate student with a devastating curse who encounters a hot Wiccan with a secret of his own. Together they battle an ancient evil, struggling to save their lives and their new-found love, ANY WITCH WAY  they can.

Her debut novel, “Despite the Ghosts”, is a paranormal romance resulting from the 2008 NaNoWriMo challenge, which was contracted and published with The Wild Rose Press in 2010. The novel features a beautiful psychic who struggles to decipher a spirit's clues. Her attempts land her in the arms of the spirit's brother--a bachelor tycoon, and complete skeptic. Sparks fly as the two work together to solve the ghost's mystery, but can their romance work, DESPITE THE GHOSTS?

Currently, Dylan is working harder (but not always smarter) to get an agent, and finish her anticipated (by her, anyway) NY Times Bestselling series, while trying to figure out that whole cook for a day, eat for a month gig. So far, she's scored a big zero on all of the above, but she's still plugging along.
Dylan married her high-school sweetheart and they are busy living out their own happily ever after with their two incredible daughters in sunny Florida.
